It is important that you know that Jaxban.com is only responsible for managing the warranty process, the manufacturer is the one who decides whether the product is under warranty or not.

Remember that it is important to keep the invoice of the purchase of the bike for the management of the warranty, as well as to register the frame of your bike on the website of the brand in question.

WHAT DO I DO AFTER BUYING MY BIKE?

You should register your bike, that’s the first thing.

How do I register my bike? First, locate your VIN.

Where do I find the frame number?  The serial number can be found on the base of the bottom bracket of the bike or noted on your purchase invoice.

HOW LONG DOES THE WARRANTY LAST?

All products sold from 01/01/2022 onwards will have a 3-year guarantee.

From the 1st of January 2022, the Modification of the General Law for the Defence of Consumers and Users will come into force. This measure is implemented in the European Directive (EU) 2019/771 of 20 May 2019.

In order to be able to exercise the right of guarantee we will have to keep the receipt or the purchase invoice to prove the date of purchase.

WHAT DOES THE WARRANTY COVER?

The warranty does not cover damage or failure caused by misuse, wear, poor maintenance or incorrect installation not carried out by Jaxban.com or the manufacturer. Remember that the guarantee for components that are not from the same manufacturer is not covered by the brand in question.

DOES THE WARRANTY COVER ME IF I BUY THE SECOND-HAND BIKE?

No, the warranty is not transferable and applies only to the initial purchaser. Proof of purchase is required with any potential warranty claim.

WHAT MAINTENANCE SHOULD I DO TO MY BICYCLE TO BE COVERED BY THE WARRANTY?

Each element of your bicycle is subject to special warranty conditions. We recommend that you consult the specific conditions of your manufacturer so that you can do the proper maintenance so as not to lose the warranty.

HOW OFTEN SHOULD I TAKE THE BIKE TO THE WORKSHOP?

It will depend a lot on the use made of it: frequency of rides, intensity, unevenness, maintenance, cyclist’s weight, weather conditions,… If the use can be considered intense, we recommend taking it every 3/4 months to check the transmission, tubeless fluid, brake pads, bottom bracket bearings, steering, chain… If the use that is given to it is occasional, the bicycle should visit the workshop every 6 months.
