The efficient Bosch Performance CX e-drive (Gen.4) supports you with a powerful 85 Nm up to 25 km/h. The most powerful electric motor from Bosch is perfectly integrated, the THRON² drives wonderfully balanced. In eMTB mode, the motor optimally adjusts the support according to your performance. The new battery (Smart System) with 750 Wh (size S: 625 Wh) brings you endless trail fun. The battery is integrated into the down tube, but can be removed for charging.

The FOLD kinematics with 130 mm travel absorbs all the bumps on your path. Whether it’s a fast flow trail or a bumpy gravel route – the perfect mix of sensitivity and strong resistance to bottoming out lets you enjoy all your rides. The characteristic curve is completely progressive and ensures a super stable chassis, so you feel safe on any terrain. E-MTBs in particular, with their additional weight due to the motor and battery, benefit from the greater progression. This feature allows you to master any trail while the chassis still provides you with enough comfort for long trail laps. Additionally, a lower standover height provides more freedom to play with your THRON² 6.8 on the trail.

VERSATILE:

From trail tours in alpine terrain to the way to work to bikepacking, everything is possible with the THRON². With appropriate modifications, a wide variety of equipment can be retrofitted at the designated assembly points – depending on where your e-MTB tour is going. You can also charge your devices via a USB-C port on the top tube. In addition, the specially developed CIS (Cockpit Integration Solution) design ensures a tidy look on the cockpit and always ensures perfect switching and braking. All cables run on the handlebars into the stem and through the headset into the frame.
